PRIVACY POLICY

We attach great importance to the protection of your data. In order to fully inform you about the use of personal data, we ask you to take note of the following data protection information.

SCOPE
This privacy policy informs users about the nature, scope and purpose of the collection and use of personal data by the responsible provider Mindful Design and Craft e.U. by Petra Wieser, Witzendorfer Ortsstraße 15, A-3100 St.Pölten, on this website (hereinafter referred to as “provider”).

Handling personal data
Personal data is information that can be used to identify a person, i.e. information that can be traced back to a person. This includes the name, the e-mail address or the telephone number. But also data about preferences, hobbies, memberships or which websites were viewed by someone count as personal data. Personal data is only collected, used and passed on by the provider if this is permitted by law or the user consents to the collection of data.

Contact
When contacting the provider (e.g. via contact form or e-mail), the user’s details are stored for the purpose of processing the enquiry and in the event that follow-up questions arise.

Access data/ Server log files
The provider (or his/her web space provider) collects data on every access to the offer (so-called server log files). The access data include: Name of the website accessed, file, date and time of access, amount of data transferred, notification of successful access, browser type and version, the operating system of the user, referrer URL (the previously visited page), IP address and the requesting provider. The provider only uses the log data for statistical evaluations for the purpose of the operation, security and optimisation of the offer. However, the provider reserves the right to check the log data subsequently if there is a justified suspicion of unlawful use on the basis of concrete indications.

Newsletter
With the newsletter we inform you about us and our offers. If you would like to receive the newsletter, we require a valid e-mail address from you as well as information that allows us to verify that you are the owner of the specified e-mail address or that the owner agrees to receive the newsletter. No other data is collected. This data is only used for sending the newsletter and will not be passed on to third parties. When you register for the newsletter, we save your IP address and the date of registration. This storage serves solely as proof in the event that a third party misuses an email address and registers to receive the newsletter without the knowledge of the authorised person(s). You can revoke your consent to the storage of the data, the e-mail address and their use for sending the newsletter at any time. The revocation can be made via a link in the newsletters themselves, in your profile area or by sending a message to the contact options above.

Integration of third-party services and content
It may happen that third-party content, such as videos from YouTube, maps from Google Maps, RSS feeds or graphics from other websites, are integrated within this online offer. This always requires that the providers of this content (hereinafter referred to as “third-party providers”) are aware of the IP address of the user. Without the IP address, they would not be able to send the content to the browser of the respective user. The IP address is thus required for the display of this content. We endeavour to use only such content whose respective providers use the IP address only for the delivery of the content. However, we have no influence if the third-party providers store the IP address, e.g. for statistical purposes. As far as we are aware of this, we inform the users about it.

Cookies
Cookies are small files that make it possible to store specific, device-related information on the user’s access device (PC, smartphone, etc.). On the one hand, they serve the user-friendliness of websites and thus the users (e.g. storage of login data). On the other hand, they help to collect statistical data on website use and to be able to analyse it for the purpose of improving the offer. Users can influence the use of cookies. Most browsers have an option to restrict or completely prevent the saving of cookies. However, it is pointed out that the use and in particular the user comfort may be limited without cookies. Online ad cookies from companies can be managed via the US site http://www.aboutads.info/choices/ or the EU site http://www.youronlinechoices.com/uk/your-ad-choices/.

Google Analytics
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. („Google“). Google Analytics uses “cookies”, which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyse how users use the site. The information generated by the cookie about the use of this website by users is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. In the event that IP anonymisation is activated on this website, however, Google will truncate the user’s IP address beforehand within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. IP anonymisation is active on this website. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating the use of the website by users, compiling reports on website activity and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage to the website operator. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data. Users can prevent the storage of cookies by setting their browser software accordingly. However, this offer informs users that in this case they may not be able to use all the functions of this website to their full extent. Users can also prevent the collection of data generated by the cookie and related to their use of the website (including their IP address) by Google and the processing of this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available under the following link: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de. As an alternative to the browser add-on or within browsers on mobile devices, please click this link to prevent the collection by Google Analytics within this website in the future. This places an opt-out cookie on your device. If you delete your cookies, you must click this link again.

Google Maps
This website uses Google Maps to display map information. When using Google Maps, Google also collects, processes and uses data on the use of the Maps functions by visitors to the websites. You can find more information about data processing by Google in Google’s privacy policy at https://www.google.at/intl/de/policies/privacy/. Use of Facebook Social Plug-Ins
This offer uses social plug-ins (“plug-ins”) of the social network facebook.com, which is operated by Facebook Ireland Ltd, 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2, Ireland (“Facebook”). The plug-ins are recognisable by one of the Facebook logos (white “f” on a blue tile, the terms “Like”, “Like” or a “thumbs up” sign) or are marked with the addition “Facebook Social Plug-In”. The list and appearance of Facebook social plug-ins can be viewed here: https://developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins/. When a user calls up a website of this offer that contains such a plug-in, his/her browser establishes a direct connection with the Facebook servers. The content of the plug-in is transmitted directly to your browser by Facebook and integrated into the website by it. The provider therefore has no influence on the scope of the data that Facebook collects with the help of this plug-in and therefore informs the users according to his/her level of knowledge: By integrating the plug-ins, Facebook receives the information that a user has accessed the corresponding page of the offer. If the user is logged in to Facebook, Facebook can assign the visit to his/her Facebook account. When users interact with the plug-ins, for example by clicking the Like button or posting a comment, the corresponding information is transmitted directly from your browser to Facebook and stored there. If a user is not a member of Facebook, there is still the possibility that Facebook will find out and store his/her IP address. According to Facebook, only an anonymised IP address is stored in Germany. The purpose and scope of the data collection and the further processing and use of the data by Facebook, as well as the relevant rights and settings options for protecting the privacy of users, can be found in Facebook’s privacy policy: https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy/. If a user is a Facebook member and does not want Facebook to collect data about him/her via this offer and link it to his/her membership data stored on Facebook, he/she must log out of Facebook before visiting the website. Further settings and objections to the use of data for advertising purposes are possible within the Facebook profile settings: https://www.facebook.com/settings?tab=ads.

Privacy policy for the use of YouTube
Functions of the YouTube service are implemented on our website. These functions are offered by YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave, San Bruno, CA 94066, USA. The embedded videos place cookies on the user’s computer when the website is called up. Those who have deactivated the setting of cookies for the Google advertising programme will not have to expect any such cookies when calling up YouTube videos. However, YouTube also stores non-personal usage information in other cookies. If you wish to prevent this, you must block this in the browser. For more information on the purpose, scope and further processing and use of the data by YouTube, as well as your rights in this regard and options for protecting your privacy, please refer to YouTube’s privacy policy:

Privacy policy for the use of Pinterest
On our website, we use social plug-ins of the social network Pinterest, which is operated by Pinterest Inc., 635 High Street, Palo Alto, CA, 94301, USA (“Pinterest”). When you call up a page that contains such a plug-in, your browser establishes a direct connection to the Pinterest servers. The plug-in transmits data to the Pinterest server. This data may include your IP address, the address of the websites visited that also contain Pinterest functions, the type and settings of the browser, the date and time of the request, how you use Pinterest and cookies.
Further information on the purpose, scope and further processing and use of the data by Pinterest, as well as your rights in this regard and options for protecting your privacy, can be found in the Pinterest privacy policy: https://about.pinterest.com/de/privacy-policy.

Privacy policy for the use of Instagram

If you are logged into your Instagram account, you can link the content of our pages to your Instagram profile by clicking on the Instagram button. This allows Instagram to associate the visit to our pages with your user account. We would like to point out that we, as the provider of the pages, have no knowledge of the content of the transmitted data or its use by Instagram.
You can find more information on this in Instagram’s privacy policy on https://www.instagram.com/about/legal/privacy/.
