IS A SMALL STUDIO IN ST. PÖLTEN, WHICH HAS SET ITSELF THE GOAL OF CREATING OBJECTS THAT POSITIVELY INFLUENCE THE EVERYDAY LIVES OF THEIR USERS. PETRA WIESER DESIGNS AND MANUFACTURES HER PRODUCTS WITH MINDFUL CHOICE OF MATERIALS AND MINIMALIST DESIGN APPROACH.
MINDFUL DESIGN COFFEE BREWER GOES BERLIN
The DesignEuropa Awards, organised by the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO), recognise great products and designers in the field of industrial design for the fourth time. Petra Wieser from Mindful Design and Craft is one of the four finalists for the 2023 Award in the category "Small and Emerging Companies"! The finalists stood out from almost 700 applicants by setting new standards in design and also focusing on sustainability and social impact.
The Award Ceremony will take place on September 5th in Berlin. Fingers crossed!
ABOUT
Petra Wieser (*1990, in Kirchberg/Pielach, Austria) is a designer and occupational therapist. After studying "Design, Craft & Material Culture" at the New Design University in St. Pölten, she founded her studio "Mindful Design and Craft". She is particularly interested in objects that surround us in everyday life and unconsciously influence our actions. In her studio in St. Pölten, she designs and produces one-of-a-kind pieces that have a lasting benefit and are intended to inspire people to take on new perspectives.
