Pour over coffee is pure, elegant and brings out the underlying character of a coffee bean. This special process extracts the pure taste from the high-quality beans and focuses our attention on the here and now. Give yourself this time!
The Pour Over process is an “indirect” preparation method, as a medium (paper filter) is used that retains certain components, such as bitter substances and coffee oils, from the coffee bea
This filtration allows other flavours to take up more space. This brings out the flavours so typical of filter coffee: citrus notes, floral elements, fruit varieties, chocolate and much more.
Porcelain is the optimal material for this process, as it is heats up quickly and maintains an even brewing temperature.
The cone shape and grooves of the dripper, inspired by the design of the Kalita Wave paper filter #185 ensure even extraction and resistance-free flow.
Each piece is handmade and unique, therefore colour differences, fingerprints, air bubbles, unevenness etc. may occur. These features do not interfere with the function of the filter set, but allow insights into the manufacturing process and help to give each object a special character.
The minimalist and timeless design in combination with high-quality material are the premises to become a long-lasting companion in everyday life.
